Edo period fortress of the Tokugawa Shogunate
About this creation
Not intended to be the White Heron Castle, Himeji-jo, but definitely inspired by it.

there's so many interesting techniques you used in this one MOC.
The black roof on the building made out of a box turned 45 degrees - brilliant!
The bridge - perfect.
The decorative eaves on the tiled roofs - genius!
But what I like most of all is the fireplace thing, I don;t know what they're called. The grey thing outside the main gate. These surround the Temple of heaven in BeiJing, and you nailed it. I'm sure Japanese and Chinese ones are different in some ways (maybe), but this looks exactly like one; stupendous job on this MOC. |

Thanks very much all. Also, I destroyed this months ago (well, the castle part of it).
Also, seeing as I do possess a Wii console as well as an interest in Shinto mythology, I look for that copy of Okami whenever I visit an electronics/game/toy store. However, it's a fairly rare title so I haven't seen it yet... |

The structure in the rice patty looks a lot like the origin mirrors in Okami. Are you an Okami fan? If not, go change that. NOW! |

Well done! This is probably my favourite creation by you, or atleast for what I have seen so far. I really like how you did the roof, the texturing is ace! You should try your hand at a Ninjitsu Dojo, a center for ninja training! |
