As soon as I saw set 10187 all kind of twisted things on what to do to modify it popped into my head, including this one: a baja bug. After building the set, I re-shaped the front and rear fenders to match what is done in real life as well as adding front and rear suspension and all of the typical off-road goodies. Hope you like.

I love it! I'll echo the others by saying great job modifying an official set. This reminds me of a VW Beetle that used to stage rally in the SCCA ProRally series in the late-90's. The suspension is great, nice work with that. |

I have that set too, and I would never have made it into a buggy. It's too heavy for my suspension, so it would be impossible. I like the seats and roll cage. The front brush guard is very cool, too. |
