Turrific scale model and very great technique, the weight ratio is as good as letting him stand at the wheels and the heels.

Wow! I think I've already commented on this, but it deserves another "I like It". Also can you check out my newest mech, I would love to have your professional opinion on it.

As soon as my mech-skills improve, I MUST do a racing mech.

First off, I'm flattered that you liked my racing mecha so much that you decided to base yours off of mine (and to some extent, Tekka Croe's). The overall structure is nice, and I'm especially loving the pelvic area. However, I do think it could use some improvement. First off, the colors and color blocking are a little rough. I'd suggest picking one main color, like dark grey, and putting in dashes of orange; keeping the flame motif might be cool too. Second, and finally, the arms and shoulders look a little weak and static. I'd get rid of the small arch bricks and rework the shoulders all together, but the forearm is fine. And Pizza Man: read his comments first. He clearly said that he based the construction off of the frame he saw Tekka and me use, but he also changed the structure and colors. This isn't copying; copying would be taking a lego set you bought and posted it as a creation (like you did) or posting someone elses exact design and not giving credit.

Actually, I've tweaked the design some and need to take and post new pictures. They're minimal but at the same time add alot. Also, it's fits the minifig more snugly now. Thanks for you comment! Keep on building ~ Nowhereman

I really like the streamline look of this mech. The orange color was a really good choice here, and I also like the heavy duty tires on it. over all this is a great little racing mech. :)

You'd be surprised, it's actually considerably sturdy.

Looks incredibly complex and has some interesting connections, but I think the lower legs should be a bit longer. Although I think the fact it stands at ALL is impressive.

Awesomeness. The use of minifig arms around the guy's head is incredibly cool. Great shape all around and a neato design. ...All the hip kids are saying "neato" nowadays, right?

I guess thats the civilian mech you were talking about. Itīs really cool, the colorsheme and decals fit the raceing mech theme very nice. Oh and I have good news for you, my next mechs will be a mining mech, or with other words a civilian one.

actually, the trick (I've experimented with a few other racing frames since this, none of which were worth posting) is to build AROUND the minifig (at least with this frame) a few other incredible hardsuits with full minifigs in them are Izzo's http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=213594 and Moko's http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=229666 enjoy! It's so epic, that whenever I type it's name, I have to use an exclamation point! After you watch it, you'll be invited into my Dai Gurren Dan group for Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann! fans. It's only 27 episodes. Ep 16 is only a re-cap. I stayed up all night watching it my 1st time in one day! Totally worth it! I've now watched it 3 times!

Personally I think Chewk's frame is even better than Legohaulics, but then again, one of the best parts about the latter is that his frame is much easier to customize in awesomely unique ways (both frames are still awesome though). This MOC does a great job of maintaining functionality with buff armour- I can picture this mech shoving aside the others on the track... Good job.

I really do like it. However, the legs seem a little on the short side, and the midsection is a bit...thin. Other than that, it's a very nice mecha.

Cool mech! The use of minifig arms for a harness looks a bit weird to me, though. At least when I first saw it, I thought it was the pilot's arms, but I can see the harness now. Otherwise, nice work on this one.
