I wanted to make a little something for this holiday season.

About this creation

The original idea was that I was going to make a whole Nativity in Miniland Scale (in fact I've been wanting to do one for years ever since I worked at LEGOLAND California), but I didn't end up finding the time this year. So I ended up making the most essential part -- Mary and Baby Jesus.

I added a lamb to look in on the tiny child.

Making Mary's head cover was particularly challenging at this scale. The elements for the lamb are twisted and even turned upside-down and the hay for the baby came out great.
