About this creation
Time and time again, LEGO has had a great idea and messed up by making the model too small. So, this contest is simple: Make ANY Star Wars ship in minifig scale. I will be judging the ships using Wookieepedia's statistics, so check there for official dimensions. This is the formula for calculating minifig scale:
Official Length in meters multiplied by 39.37 (this converts it to inches) divided by 48 (assuming a LEGO minifig is 6 feet tall)
So a ship 10 meters long should be built 8.2020833 inches long.
An easier way is to build by studs. Assuming you will be building traditionally, take
The Official Minifig-Scale length in inches divided by 5 and multiplied by 16
So our 10 meter long ship is to be built 26.246665 studs long.
