About this creation
[I don’t have all of the pics for it taken yet –sorry!]
The Sith Spawn; an ancient Sith-fighter that most thought had been destroyed along with the rest of it's kind after the destruction of the star-forge; which is what created this venomous vessel.
It was rumored to be Darth Revan's personal Sith-Fighter, which would explain it's survival of the destruction of the rest of it's fleet, and the Star-Forge.
It was discovered by General Grievous, who found it locked up in a large catacomb which served as a burial ground to Sith Lords. However, Palpitine ordered that it be hidden in an air-locked chamber on the death star as soon as he got word of the discovery.
Although it was never confirmed; it is assumed that Palpatine was planning to allow his new found apprentice -Darth Vader- to fly the vessel. But after Vader was severely damaged in the fight wit his old master Obi-Wan, he was no longer fit enough to fly the fighter -Rendering it useless.
None other that Galen Marek "Starkiller" was it's next pilot. His most well known ship was the Rouge Shadow. But that ship wasn't meant to be a one-man fighter. Vader determined that it would the secret apprentice's first true test to get into the Death Star, and figure out a way to escape with the Sith-Spawn -all without being discovered, of course. The mission was a success, and far more simple than Vader had expected. Galen simply broke into imperial records on a hidden base on Endor, and targeted a single storm-trooper that was stationed on Tattoine. The Trooper was scheduled to be transferred to the Death Star to work as chief of security of the T.S.C. [Top Secret Cargo] Sector. Galen -after practically memorizing everything that could be learned of the trooper- traveled to Tattoine, tracked him down, killed him, and then took his armor and claimed to be the trooper. From there, he was escorted to the Death Star, and stationed there. Now, he had free access to the T.S.C. Sector -Which was where the Sith-Spawn was held. During a scheduled power-down in the T.S.C. Sector, Galen boarded the Sith-Spawn, and escaped through a powered-down hanger.
He then staged his own death while going through an asteroid field.
Now, Palpatine and the rest thought that a high-headed storm trooper had found the ship, and tried to escape with it.
Galen returned to Vader with the ship, and was heavily rewarded with getting to use it as his personal fighter.
He used the Sith-Spawn for missions that either included larger amounts of heavy air-combat, or if he was going completely solo with a mission.

SHIP STATS:
It has three flight-modes.
The first, is the landing-mode. Where the wings are lifted, and stationed horizontally. Allowing the landing-gear -which is held inside of the wing- can ascend.
The second, is the flight mode. [Sorry, no pics of this mode yet!] In this mode, the wings are stationed straight and vertically. This mode allows for the fastest speeds you can achieve in flight for this vessel, but restricts maneuverability.
The third, is battle-mode. In this mode, the wings are titled down words, slightly underneath the ship. This makes for wider-sight-range from inside the cockpit, and vastly increases its’ controlled maneuverability -but also decreases the over-all speed of the fighter.
This ship was later taken by Darth Paravvus -A vicious Sith lord that rose to power after the death of Palpatine, and Vader.

Wow, that looks just like it! O by the way could I join the Expanded Universe group!
This set wasn't based of off anything... It was completely original. Can I see what ship you're referring to? Because there is no ship known to me that is like the one I built.
And yes, I just confirmed the request for you to join my group. Thanks for joining! |
