Red convertible with small size caravan. The caravan roof is removable for playing.
About this creation
Dutch Caravan
This small size type of caravan is commonly used in Europe. Especially among the Dutch it's very popular. Notice the adjustable front wheel. It's used when the caravan is uncoupled from the car. The yellow gas tanks are used for cooking and heating.
The license plate on the back of the caravan is yellow, like all plates in the Netherlands (Holland).
Caravan Interior
The caravan roof can be removed easily for playing.
Inside a kitchen is located in the front.
The living is in the back with a L-shaped couch and a table.
The couch & table can be transformed into a bed.
Some kitchen details:
- Stove with casserole
- Sink with tap
- Fridge and compartment with movable doors.
The car & caravan are designed in Minifig scale. Only bricks as available in the Lego Digital Designer programme (LDD) are used.
Prototypes
The final design (at the right) is based on the yellow convertible with red caravan prototype (at the left).
The orginal design includes a scooter (which can be put on the back of the caravan). The final version doesn't include the scooter since it contains bricks that aren't within LDD.
Very nice model, considering the limitations of the LDD (bricks, colours and snapping). Keep up the good work! Have you considered to change the dark bley bricks with white ones?
Car base-plates as well as more colours for car doors than just red should be available on LDD as soon as possible. Then we will be able to make more models in various colours.
