Engagement, of the destructive variety.
Two striders, a handful of cops and plenty of fireworks.
About this creation

Due to some type of rivalry, a duel seems to be in progress. On the left, we have a Zenith E attack strider: marvelously designed for warmongering, this variant was built in response to complaints about ammunition bins and their small size.
On the right is a Zephyr scout, fast and powerful but not particularly well armoured. Both parties are therefore evenly matched, with the Zephyr's speed serving to foil the Zenith's left arm particle beam and the Zenith's heat sinks serving to disable the Zephyr's plascannon.

As may be seen by the activity of the local law enforcement
personnell, not everyone would appear to appreciate this
display of student rivalry and collateral damage infliction.

Indeed, some would appear to be
actively attempting to halt it.

The wisdom of using attack dogs against striders,
even of the light class, is well documented.
In fact, for behavior so well documented, it is
amazing that so many police forces persist in this
wasteful expenditure of resources.

Although those two guards in the background would
appear to be more concerned with recapturing their
escaped jailbird.

Luckily, the instructor for the two pilots-in-training
happens to be nearby. The threat of losing their life
savings is usually enough to stop the participants in
scraps like this before they get too aggresive.

The pilots in question, however, are completely oblivious
to all this activity.

Alas, that poor janitor, the one who seems to have
had his skull crushed in part of some evasive
maneuver, probably has no interest in proceedings either.

And as a footnote, the XAC-90 Fury light support Helidyne is no slouch against striders when armed with AP ammunition. In this case, it's the big stick behind the instructor's threats, should the rivals refuse to heed them.

To reply: I have no idea who is doing it, but yours were the closest to hand at the time. I have decided on a new policy of 'Laissez-faire' from now on, which basically boils down to: in less than a month it won't exist, so no point in popping some capillaries now.
We seem to be reffering to two different kinds of spam: I am reffering to rating spam, and you would seem to be thinking of the textual spam. I am of the opinion my long comments are no worse than a load of "Ogm CUL" from a load of alliance members, but I will not be adding any more updates to the original comment. Best to let this die down now, I think.

Quoting Deus Otiosus I just saw this, and it is pretty cool. By the way, what was is taht first comment about?
MOCpages politics, circa 2008: if you comment on a popular builder's post with something that isn't slavering praise, his fans assume you're an evil monster and mass-downrate your stuff. This being back before you couldn't rate something more than once. Other than that, I can't remember. I went a tad nuts back then for reasons I can't seem to recall.

Quoting Lee Howton This is really good and I really like the XAC-90. Mind if I build one?
You can build a whole fleet of them if you want. As long as I get credit, I'm fine with design borrowing. I consider such things to be nothing more than good publicity. There are more pictures at it's dedicated page in the Aerodynes folder: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/88848, to be precise.

You say my fans are spamming you...right? I really doubt it, but just in case they are, mabey you shouldn't spam people like me, so give my creations an honest rating, just as I'm giving your stuff an honest rating!
