Star Wars goes Apoc: Republic T1 Solaris
A new terror has arrived in the world of the Apocalypse! The T1 Solaris brings fear to all created beings, so you better watch out!
About this creation
A somewhat similar look to the AH-64D Apache longbow, I think; despite the incredibly long chain gun up front.

I was thinking about creating custom stickers to tag on the windshield to make it look REALLY realistic. Who thinks I should?

There's the infamous Apache M230 30mm Machine gun.

I don't know; I think I was drinking too much coffee when I was making this bad boy.

Yea, I seriously need to attach some custom stickers.

The cockpit wasn't as hard as I thought. It was the joystick that I had the most trouble on.

"Support Gunner; Private Delrock, reporting for duty, sir!"

No, the windshield does not slide open like that. I wish it did though...

Right wing armament: (8 anti-tank missiles)/(altogether 80 hail-fire missiles.)

Left wing armament: (8 anti-tank missiles)/(3 anti-air missiles each rocket tube.)

The Apache has all those weapons, right?

Yea, that's what I thought.

There were a lot of wheel options I could have used, but none of them satisfied me more then these one right here.

The first wheel set I made couldn't fold up and down like that. Eventually, The process grew stronger and stronger.

Then I designed it all to where those two doors could fold up and down too.

Pretty sweet, huh?

Smooth backside.

The outstanding insignia of the Republic.

At first I wanted to look into the Ka 50 Hokum design, which had no rear rotor attached to the tail. But then I saw that mine didn't have twin top rotors, so I thought about it and decided it would be easier to make a rear rotor instead.

A simple design. Phh...

Rear view.

There's a little hole like that on the other side too.

'Now what does that little do?' You wonder?

It spins the rotor itself, of course! Thought there was NOTHING to this little copter, huh?

Hope you like it!

Again, great color scheme. its easy too make something cool looking, it takes a little more to make things actually work. ie; rotor and wheels fold up. gj

It looks nice. Though the large gun-thingy in the nose kinda ruins it. A elongated two-man cockpit phearhaps? Alltogether... Nice-4/5

Very impresive. I love the spining rotor. And the missles are perfect.

Altogether a very sleek smooth build. Can't wait for future MOCs.
