this is my h&k mp5sd with some extra`s. i did my best to make it look like the real thing, i think i came close. i have build every part about 7/8 times and still i think i can do better ( there is still some tape on the clip,no safety/auto/semi-auto,the barrel is hollow and detachble but not to my satisfaction and it does not fire any lego piece anymore ). i used the thomas cooper design as inspiration and got some pictures from the net and started building my own thing and the only thing left from the t.c. design is the firing mechanism and it does`nt funtion anymore, but that is not a designfault. the original design from where i started functioned perfect 1st time you just need the right spring.i`m sorry that it`s not perfectly funtioning but i really wanted to start on my Barrett m107/m82a1 the more i thought about it(i started it one time but got sidetracked you can see the result on my homepage and now i have 40%
more black pieces in all shapes)
i hope you like it ,but the next will be bigger, better and perfectly functional even if have to build a year.
*this design includes:
- working laserdot ( build in small laser dot light )
- working scope (build in monocular lenses)
- working front double led light (build in bright clip on reading lights)
-(working) firing mechanism ( the basic thomas cooper design did work but it was and still is to small for mine im not getting it functional anymore with this design
- detachble:- barrel
- front aim
- scope/red dot laser( i will to brake tis down wile taking pictures and page them)
- front light
- front handle
- dubble clip
when all detached it will fit in a briefcase ok it does`nt perfecty fits into shaped holes but it closes without damage even wile walking and light shaking or bumping in to things.
*i shot a a lot of pictures wile building (about 4,5 months) and take them wile braking down so any questions or details i will try to answer with the help of pictures.
Wow, I must say your MP5 looks even better than mine! I must say you shaped it very realistically. The only remark I have on your design is that the stock arm is a little too thick, but other than that it looks fantastic! Too bad it doesn't shoot anymore. And thanks for giving me credit, but would you mind correcting my name in your description of the weapon?
