88 mm Flak
German flak
About this creation
This is my 88 mm flak. It was the main AA gun for the germans. It was good for not only aircraft, but served as a good tank destroyer. As said on my bofors page, it is the equivalant of the 40 mm bofors gun. Enjoy the pics!

It's a pretty simple design but I like it.

Quoting Boris Kletin i like it but it needs those sheilds on the sides(seen on the AT version) and why is the fig backwards?
Thanks for the comment. Some had the shields and some didnt. I believe the later ones had the shield, Im not sure...and yes, the minifiges suppost to be backwards.

Okay, now it makes more sense. While you're making some more soldiers, maybe you could put this on a baseplate, put on some of the crossed metal bar road block things (or some other small detail) and make a diorma. That would be really cool.

Quoting Horadious . have a clue what this is based on, so I can't judge it on accuracy. I can judge it on cool-ness though! It looks very good. The cannon looks powerful and long range, but not unrealistically huge. It does have a few flaws. The pilot is facing backward, so unless he has some sort of screen to look at or the gun really looks like this, I have to give you 4 stars. It is a bit studdy in places, like the attachment between the gun and seat. If it is supposed to look like this, or you made more updated pictures, I'll change my rating.
Thanks for reviewing my 88 flak! This is from ww2, and the guy is suppost to be facing backwards. There should be about 5 guys, but Im still working on my soldiers. They would tell him where to shoot. With flak, you just aim in the general direction of the plane or tank, so it worked out when the aimer had to just listen to his buddies. I do admit it is a bit studdy, but when I put smooth pieces on, it was too thick. Again, thanks for the review, and happy building!
