This is a sporty roadster I created soley out of boredom. It's very similar to some other real-world sports cars. My whole inspiration for this car came from one single piece, the healights! I thought they'd look sweet on a car! So I started with one light and formed a car to match! Please enjoy the car as it is the most detailed one I've ever made!
About this creation
Front view. I spent a long time making it look special and I even had to order some new LEGO pieces to finish it just right. It is also the smallest, most curvacious front I've ever made.
Side view...all sleek and shady and what not.
Back view. I used the same idea for the tailights! And check out the quad exhausts!
Front view again...reminds me of a viscious snake!
The hood has a glass engine cover and heat-outlet vents nearby.
This is by far my coolest interior yet! It's entirely studless and full of details! The seats are my favortie part, seatbelts included! They are baby blue to suit the theme of the car and they are mounted on 1/2 stud jumper plates so they're perfectly spaced between the center console and the doors!
Chrome gas pedals, hand brake, cup holders, and a futuristic style dash. Also notice the baby blue speedometer to match the headlights!
Cup holders in action! Now if only I could build people to drink it...
Trunk opens...though there's not much space to put anything...
Back view, all opened. Notice the stand holding up the hood. It folds down into the engine bay quite nicely.
Supercharged V8 located in the rear. Plenty of shiny stuff in here!
I put in some undercarriage detail like a differential and exhaust lines.
Final shot for added drama. Sweet lookin' machine, huh? Oops, I think I accidently got my camera's strap in this photo...

This is extremely well done! The only thing I'm not quite sure about are the seatbelts; those strings don't quite seem up to the job. Otherwise, an awesome build! |

i just can't believe you've created something so great and awesome!!!! I am in total awe of this car, it's just a total masterpiece! I'm trying to create the ideal car using Lego Digital Designer and I will be referring to your model as inspiration. I only wish you could provide plans for the roadster, I would love to build it and add it to my coillection next to my Lego Ferraris. Thank you again for building a masterpiece!! |

Wow! Thanks! That means a lot coming from you guys! :D And sadly, I did have to tear it apart. I decided it was better to break it right away because if I kept it, I'd fear growing attatched to it and regret destroying it...oh well...Thanks! |

Wow, that's great! It definitely has a great Supercar look to it. My first thought was that it was an RX-7. I can't decide if it looks like an Italian Supercar with Japanese flare or the other way around. Anyway, nice work on an original, yet believable design! Peace - Patrick |

Oh Dylan, you almost gave me a heart attack. It's probably themost beautiful large-scale car you've ever made...... But making the whole car for the headlights?? But still. The front is swoopy, as is the back, making that sweet curve down to the trunk (I adore that) but I'm not sure I altogether agree with the intercooler. And doesn't the trunk open?? But anyways, mate, one of your best and I think it will forever be one of your best. The rims are a bit typical, and the backlights just blew me away!! I felt like drooling, but then the thought dawned on me that I was writing the over a laptop with my eyes glued to the screen and some cups of drool probably would'nt improve the keyboard response. Therefore, I hold back my increasing urge to drool, and give you: GREAT WORK!! ~Raphy G~ |
