Yes, it is a Star Destroyer that has been modified. I just couldn't resist, the shape was irresistible. I kept some of the functions. The ship on top detaches from the stardrive section for multi-vector assault mode. THe pod still docks(open the pod bay doors, Hal). I also made it so it is a little more "airtight". I think I am going to add shuttlebay doors, maybe move the shuttlebay to the back, landing struts, and add a cafe. The little ship was hard to build because of the docking mechanism inside. And no, I do not have any Classic Space logo bricks. If you rate please say why.
Crossovers were always be tricky to make, but you managed to find a perfect combination. I thought that those styles are uncombinable, but you proved that it is possible. Are there some interior pics? I know that it is tricky to make interior for framework-based ships like this , but it would be a great enhancement to this already great creation :D
Beast! If you just had a handful of trans. yellow pieces and a couple space Logo's it would look like the meanest classic cruiser ever built.
I like your white serial number on the side, it helps link to the 'LL' badges. Also the black and yellow striping a nice touch. I like that you have stuck to the triangular pices on top and not felt the need to over-finesse with SNOT and those rounded slope pieces, leaving atleast some studs showing thus making this look totally classic.
