About this creation
I did not publish any moc here for nearly two years. But I’m back now presenting my last Moc. Truly it isn’t “my” Moc. It is the work of my son Kai (14 years) too.
In the last two years we built a large display of one of the german islands in the north sea. It is a diorama of Langeoog. We built it in minifig scale and all the buildings are desingned from pictures we took at Langeoog. The display today is about 30m² and shows the most famous buildings of this island: the water tower, the house of Lale Andersen, the “Teestube”, some typical guest-houses, the railwaystation and the harbor with the train who connects harbour and railwaystation.
Here are some pics:

This display has been presentetd for some month at Langeoog and the feedback was enormous. We got many ideas to complete it for a 2009-version. At the momnet we are working on 5 new buildings to have a real town center next year.
WOW. what a great scene! I love all the details from the train station to the beach! Grat MOC, those Four-teen year olds sure no how to build!

wow! That is ALOT of LEGOs. I hope that, like Mark Kelso said, one day I will have enough pieces to make something so big and cool. The details are great and I really like germany!! I hope to hear from you.
What a fantastic creation!!! Beautiful buidling constructions, and an endless supply of fun detail work with figs, landscaping, boats, etc. I hope one day I'll eventually have enough pieces to do a project of this magnitude. Just amazing. Thanks so much for posting it here on MOCpages!!
