Move over Vulture Droid!
About this creation
One of the many projects of the CIS, the Hornet Droid was meant to replace the vulture droid as the main fighter in the fleet. It was meant to create a more sturdy and deadly fighter while maintaining the swarm mentality and the realitivly inexpensive design. It traded out the four missiles for four light repeating laser cannons to make it a more effective dogfighter. It aslo made it more deadly on the initial swarm attack. It still has a single missile that locks onto its target but the main weapon is the laser cannons.

I really like this moc as a replacement for the vulture droid. I also like the technic pieces for the wings and pretty much everything about it. The only thing missing is the red slits for "eyes"... wish LDraw had more stickers on file. Thanks for reviews and comments.

It's like a backwards and pure-droid version of my Osprey fighter... And much cheaper to make! If I had the peices to build it, it;d go nicely with my army...

Awesome!! How DO you use LDraw??? I downloaded the Regular amount of downloads, and it was NOT like I had seen on MOCpages. What mode did you download? Sooooo confused…………… -_-;
