MocOlympics Round 3 Stacy Sterling vs. Andrew Colunga
It's the undersea kingdom for you and for me!
About this creation
Man, really bringing this Round down to the wire! (and I don't mean the Neil Young song, unless you like that song, then I did mean it) Well ... It's a castle ... Castle Andrewstein... in a goldfish bowl. Mira, los piscados. Round 3, and the theme is Castles while going against the lovely and talented Stacy Sterling!
First, just a 360 view of the whole thing.

Front side,

Right side, I'm trying this 'inside a goldfish bowl' theme by putting in the plastic plants, which coincidentally are lego plastic plants lol ':), and having fish swom around the castle.

Back right. there's also a friendly manta ray by the tower.

Back. Some creepy Capulet kid keeps coming over and bothering that girl. I think the next time he comes around i'll have a guard kill him.

Back Left

Left

Front Left

Front doors...

Lord Lucifer, and a guy who got eaten by a shark!

Saw shark approaches through the fake grassy stuff.

Platform level

Old Elamhsi tries to harpoon 'Da dreaded white shark!'

Lord Rowsdower is the bravest knight alive!

Giant fishes still attack

Hi I'm Andrew, and I'll be giving you a tour of my underwater home.

The walls on the back swing open to give access to 3 rooms.

Well stocked Armory.

Dungeon/Recording studio. I got a dude on piano, and my Master Chief on harmonica.

What do you mean you can't see the Great Hall form here? Oh, well...

...just pull the pins out...

...remove the tower, and it seperates...

... into two parts.

The Great Hall. Mr. Gungan doesn't realize that we've poisoned the food with hebenon.

Another feature, it opens up to access the bedroom. It's like a giant PEZ despenser!

Try not to notice the whip on the table there....

My Alchemy Tower where I do ... stuff...

So think about visiting my castle next time you're in a fish bowl :)

you know, even though I've never seen this before, you might have invented the aquastlenauts theme before me. This, sir, is so amazing!

as much as I liked the chicks dancing on the tables in Stacy's, I too think you got her on this one. Nice job and good luck in round 4. ~Chris.

Well I see I'm too late for this one as well. Oh well, I'm still glad I came to check it out. It's a fantastic idea. The fully detailled rooms were a nice touch. You get my vote as well.

Ya know, initially my thought was "very cool idea, but I think Stacy's still got him"...then I kept scrolling...to see all the rooms, all the action, all the playability. Congrats Andrew, you've won me over! You've got my vote. Great job on sqeezing a ton of fun into a goldfish bowl!

Spectacular! I was kinda looking forward to a Sterling vs Sterling matchup, but I'm not sorry to see you break that up.

I loved Stacy’s build, but I have to be honest…your fish bowl concept had me from the beginning. Of course, if your build did not hold water (ZING!) then the concept is worthless, but fortunately the actual MOC is outstanding. Awesome job…welcome to round four.

Very nice. I like the plants, great use of the leaves. The fish are neat too, but i suspect they aren't very good eatin'. Good luck. see ya. garth
