About this creation
This is my LEGOŽ Chamberlain 4080 Tractor, based on the one we used to own. Chamberlain is an Australian owned tractor company, now owned by John Deere, which happens to be my other favourite tractor maker. This model has working steering and front end loader. The front axle is a little bit too wide, but I had to do that for the steering to work, and the front end loader bucket is a bit bigger than it should be but thats as small as it gets. The cab of the main body is 6 studs wide and the engine is 2 studs wide and the whole body including hitch is 15 studs long. With the wheels and front end loader to the end of the bucket it is 14 studs wide and 23 studs long. It is about twice the size of the minifig scale.
This is a view from the back where you can see the hitch.
This is a side view where you can see the turned front wheels, the front end loader and the orange beacon on the roof.
With the dual wheels on and the front end loader off. You can just see the frames on the engine where the front end loader connects to the tractor.
A back view with the dual wheels.
A side view with the dual wheels and front end loader. You can also see a bit of cab detail like levers the seat and steering wheel. Feel free to copy any of my designs.
Here is the tractor with 8 wheels. Chamberlain never built four wheel drive tractors and they never built 8 wheel tractors so you would never ever see this in real life.
