The battle we've been waiting for!
Some of us anyway...
About this creation
My brother and I wanted to build a fantasy diorama, but there are so few medieval siege dioramas I wanted to make the diorama a siege, and that meant we had to build some siege engines, or weapons.
I built a Siege ram and a Siege tower, while my brother came up with two mantlets.
The whole diorama turned out pretty good!
This overall of the siege shows all of the action.
The attackers are using many forms of siege warfare in this diorama…
The wall defenders have a great position, if only they can hold it…
Both of the mantlets are courtesy of my brother.
The wall defenders out smarted this mantlet though!
The few troops defending the wall have a great advantage!
The siege ram has been moved into place, only time will tell how long the defenders can hold out!
Losses of the attackers...
One attacker managed to scale the wall…the rest…
…Will have to try again…
The siege tower is also in place, the troops will soon try to cross onto the wall.
Though the wall defenders have a small force, they have plenty of supplies and ideas to make up for it!
A view from behind the wall shows men heading for the top of the wall.
”You will stomp them into the ground and crush the bones that are left!”-Jiater Bomiyet, The commander in charge of the siege of Pebblehedge
Another overall image shows the battle from another perspective.
The Orks have broken over the wall, but they have Dwarfs, Knights, soldiers, and even a Valkyrie to fight through, before they can claim the castle as theirs…
All of those Orks are bunched up on the end of that bridge charging the defense on the wall.
Another rear view of the wall.
The one ‘ladder climber’ that made it to the top quickly made good of his position…
I think those old Indian shields work great with the new LEGO Orks.
The Ork troops…
The other ladder climbers weren’t so fortunate…
This soldier is throwing burning barrels of pitch and Tar onto the enemy siege weapons.
The archer has a good view of the attacking force.
”We will hold them from the wall, and if they get past our defenses we will stain our wall with their blood, but they will get no further!”-Sir Julium Hilencrest
The Valkyrie can be seen from this view…
The flaming barrel(My brother’s engineering) is genius and looks pretty cool.
The rocks turned out pretty neat.
Another view of the attacking Orks…
I was hoping not to remove any parts from this diorama, but I broke down for this image of the wall where the ram is being slammed…
Don't forget to go review and rate my Siege Engines if you haven't already done so! They're over there in that menu, labeled: Medieval/Fantasy...
