A Q-28 Turret, one of the three in this base. Mainly designed for taking out large scale troop assaults, not taking out large ships, such as Mtts.
Cloning Chamber. Holds up to ten clones at any given time.
A T-52 Anti Troop-Vehicle Turret. Two cannons on this turret. One shoots Ion Blasts for destroying vehicles, the other cannon shoots proton blasts, capable of killing any body it comes in contact with.
Devastator Missile Fuel Cell, Communications Array. Back View of the Shield Generator.
Shield Generator. The two control pads on the generator are for adjusting concentration of shields.
Z-86 Anti Vehicle Turret. This turret is mounted on top of the command center. That way, it can turn and open fire in any direction without harming the base. Shoots four plasma beams at a time, making quick work of Vehicles. Deadly against troops, too.
Back of the Command Center. Note that the Clone can stand in the doorway with a few centimeters to spare. In the back of the command center, there is a line that runs through the ground, supplying the turrets, shields, communications, ad cloning chamber with the energy they need to function.
Interior of Command Center, unoccupied. There are three controls, an emergency credit safe, and an emergency system shut down lever.
The controls control the turrets, the shields, cloning, and communications, and the last one controls radar systems.
Command Center occupied. Three staff members are at the controls, while the others supervise them. A R2 unit is also in the Command Center to help with technological problems which occur from time to time.
Thats a cool base, I like building stuff like this. In answer to your questions about the Republic Carrier, it's from the first Clone Wars Cartoon. It is strong and sturdy, I build the frame from Technic beams and then skin the frame with plates that can be attached easly to the frame.
Sweet!!! Nice Base, it's got it all, thanks for commenting on my Death Star, as an Aussie I paid over $600 for the DS-I plus p&h, some of the minifigs are worth it, but the set needs a lot of modification to make it better, but hey thats the joy of building with Lego.
Once again nice job on that Base, may the blocks be with you.
