Welcome to the Elite 8! (Kescenovitz came up with that one) We’re getting down to the wire here. With only 3 more rounds until we crown the MocOlympics champion the pressure is on!
All right then, you all know the drill. You’ve got until Saturday, November 1st, at 11:59PM Eastern Standard Time to get your entry built and posted. If you plan on bribing the judges, it usually takes 2 to 3 business days for checks to clear so get those in early.
As you can see, everyone is amazed with how big they've gotten... the matches I mean... ahem, anyway.
All the same rules apply as always. What are you doing still reading this? You’ve only got two weeks! Get to work! And Stacy, do me a favor. Make a to-do list about three pages long for Dave, would ya? Thanks.
Just in case anyone is wondering, we're going to be picking up the pace here a bit (I've had some "suggestions" that this was taking too long). So I'll post the round 4 match ups on Wednesday and the entries will be due ONE WEEK from SATURDAY! Time for the final four. Good luck everyone! ~ Chris.
Hah! Face the horror that is the cyborg racer, Masterchief1. See how you like it. I'm glad that I wasn't cut down by your scythe Brian; whatever your threat in the second round was is better than facing that.
And then there were eight… Oh yes, my friends, the time has come to sheath the Sword of Adjudication and draw forth the Scythe of Flawless Condemnation. Draw it forth, that I may cull the weak and the uninspired from this thinning herd. The chosen few shall ascend upon the bones of the fallen, their righteous path congealed with the blood of the inept…and the unworthy.
Were this any other time, I would take this opportunity to say something slightly clever, and at the same time slightly insulting (all in good humor, of course) about Kelso and his *coff* little box. However, seeing that he is the one who is going to give me the thumbs up for round three (right, Kelso? I gave you enough twizlers for the nod, right?), instead I will say how wonderful that picture of you is! Oh, and nice box.
Um, wow. I'm actually glad that I don't have to deal with this competition, although I"m disappointed that Garth wasn't able to take it to the house. Mark, you look very similar to my older brother. He is somewhat of an artist as well, although he pretends to be an engineer. Go figure.
