This is the Barrett M82 Sniper Rifle. It is a 50 cal, shoots at 2700 FPS, has a 10 ammo magazine that can fire all 10 shots in under 10 seconds. This is my non active lego version.
About this creation
This is the real M82 that I found on google images.
This is my version. In real life, the weapon is 145 cm long (thats almost 60 in). Mine is 11 cm too short (thats 4.3 inches). I must have made a calculation error, or not enough barrel.
I made it collapsible for 3 reasons, 1 so i can take it back to my home in the USA, 2 because it is easier to carry in a bag for playing with, and 3 because it is cooler. It splits into 3 parts with the scope and the magazines separate (not one of the 3 pieces).
Here are the magazines with actual lego bullets for show. Each 1 only has 7 in them for size reasons.
This is to tell me which way I put them in, green is front and red is back. I have the bullets positioned so the front is with the green.
This is the main part of the weapon, it holds the handle, the trigger, the magazine, the scope and the Ejection port.
This is the ejection port. In there is a bullet for show. That door slides back like similar to the real one, only it is much smaller.
This is the butt of the gun. Nothing interesting here. Just show.
This is the muzzle of the gun. That pole is a piece of aluminum with holes drilled into the side.
Here is 1 of the holes. As you can see, it goes all the way through. There are 3-5 more holes drilled into it. I connected the poll to the legos with pegs in the sides to stop it from moving.
Here is the front of the muzzle. you can see the end of the poll.
This is the scope. it is just 2x2 circle pieces in it so you can "aim it" by looking through the hole.
This is a shot from looking through the scope at a light in my house.
I hope you enjoyed it.
