Venator Class Star Destoyer

The Venator class Star Destroyer is one of the most versatile, and as a result, the most widely used battlecruiser in the Republic Navy. This particular design is my third attempt at the angular vessel, and is built roughly to scale with the official Star Destroyer set 6211.
About this creation




















yes, the bow is glaringly wrong, but thats an exmaple of function over design - the hangar bay is usable (for speeders atleast), and the huge dorsal doors do slide open, which is why they aren't slightly angled. this is the first model venator i have built with landing gear (and a ramp)from the start. The rudder has one landing strut, while the other two are concealed either side of the ventral hangar bay, but the interior remains... unfinished. it still has a bridge (in the tower), complete with an officer, but is missing a suitable sized reactor. but i suppose thats what i get for building to half my usual scale.
