Will Thomas vs JD Luse - MOCoff - Round 2 - Post Apoc
Yep, now it's my turn to pick the theme. Mr. Luse, you're goin' down!
About this creation
After JD beat me [split decision style] in the first round on his home turf, [Castle] he's now playin' on my field.

Our 3 Celebrity Judges are Chris Phipson, Caleb Blanchet, and DARKspawn. Let the (bribing) games begin!

The Diorama

This whole MOC was a blast to make, and is by far my favorite that I've made to date.

This shot's of the area that seperates man-made and natural architecture. Well, used to. Both sides are lookin' pretty skimpy after the Apoclypse.

A shot of a few of the survivors

Home-made Timebombs

Medical Container (previously seen on top of beastly vehicle (^^)

All of the crates with the tops pryed off

This whole group (hopefully) seems well-organized, which would suggest that this would be quite a few years after the Apocalypse.

I thought the caved-roof effect that I did on this roof turned out pretty good...on a lighter note, that guy with the brown hair's about to have a bullet in his head

Sniper Turret (mostly technic)

(Self Explanatory)

(Ditto)

Puddin' Tame's second cameo...this shot scares me

Thrill of the kill

Overview (had to use this shot again)

The Beastie

There he (yep, HE) is, in full glory

I thought that HE (gotta love that name) looks better with the medical container on top...note the turret below the glass (^^)

Side-Shot

Side-Shot with ramp extended (W00T!)

I thought that the greebles turned out good on this side, spare the edges

Technic suspension (more W00T)

Just thought I'd throw in a random angle

True Happiness

And finally, the best shot of the whole MOC. Gotta like that.

Group Photo!

And finally, a shot of my commandos. You didn't see to much of them, which I think might have been a mistake. *Sigh* Oh well

its all good yet the apc or tank is a bit to high for its length but in effect its got great effect for destroyed buildings and if im right i like how instead you used m4s instead os to futuristic weapons

I don't have anything to say other than this is excellent -- the details, the layout, and everything in between. All-in-all a supurbly-executed scene. It's like Mad Max meets The Road!

Why does everyone think my castle is so small. Its not that small. It is 56 studs by 56 studs. Is it really that small? Anyway, thanks a lot for the comment. Great MOC by the way.

Yes Fed had this MOC-Off, but Bow gave up, so Fed has won and I want to challenge him now, but to say it again only for fun, I hope you looked at the page called "Fed v.s. Rex - for fun", there you have the raiting rules.

Round 2 goes to Will. Fantastic details, most especially the landscaping. You have done an awesome job with the ruins too, it conveys devastation very well. Great fig placement too. The vehicle is also well built, if not a little dumpy looking. Awesome work, Will =)

Thats a fantastic MOC and it looks so realistic. It was such a bad luck that we have this EMO problem, because you are a pretty good builder and usually Im a fan of such MOCs. So i will rate you as usual and not in this bad way as someone else is rating me. P.S.:Im no more thinking that you are the spammer, because the AK-47 was spammened and you had commented it with 5 of 5.

OK, Will, You have my vote for sure on this one! I love how the rode looks so torn up! Great job! I found that 'Band of Brothers' shot of all the minifigs pretty cool. Though, in MY Post Apoc world 1. there would be no plants and 2. there would be no medical supplies, if you get hurt(Shot, poisoned, bit, spiked to the ground...ECT.) you would be left for dead...BUT that is only in MY Post Apoc world...BAH, good luck on round three!

Ahhh...this brings back some wonderful childhood memories...the street I used to live on had lots of really fun kids to play with; we'd always see something cool across the road...too bad they never quite made it across...yep, yep, I've still got that little pocket-knife...

oh man i just took a very close look at your Beastie!! it's really awesome and accurate! you just add a very nice detailes at it... i specially like the suspension system you made! very violent "MONSTER ON WHEELS"... also the color was a great choice... and the overall shape is nice ... just.. GREAT WORK MAN!!!

I'm really diggin the "HE", that's what put it over the top in the end for me. The entire build has that "The whole worlds gone where it's supposed to go when you put it in a handbasket" look that we've all come to love about post apoc (another reason for my decision). JD's entry was awesome but you eeked him out in my opinion. Round two to you from me, but let's see what the other judges think. ~ Chris.

I wouldn't give JD any tissues until the votes are in. I like the clean lines of his build, and how cool is it to find a giant mech to help you blow stuff up, but I also like the chaos of your piece. I don't envy the judges. The only thing I want to judge is whether I should have two pieces of pie instead of one. Of course, I wouldn't expect pie after the end of the world. good luck. garth
