apc (from the movie aliens)
its the colonial marines apc from the second aliens movie.I know its not the right colour, the old dark grey would be perfect!
About this creation
I was always fascinated about this vehicle and the design of the movie.I think I was 10 or 11 years old when I first saw this movie (think much too young:),that was also the first time I tried to build this apc.
now Iīm 20years old and this page inspired me to put out my lego again and I started building a second version of this vehicle!so this is my first moc on this page!but much more will follow!
I would like to thank all people and great builders here on mocpages who inspired me a lot
oh I have to say that unfortunately I didnt make any interiour.there isnt really much space inside because of the 4wheel-steering and the very flat and extraordinary design.

the rear turret took me a lot of time and a lot of my nervs, till I got the right shape!but now Im absolut satisfied!but I dont like my turret on the front...

ok...next time,I will push the parts harder together before shooting pictures...but hey,its my first moc!
sorry for the "semiprofessionell" photos,I didnīt have much time!

Wow. Absolutely perfect. The color looks odd in the photo. Is it painted? I hope not but even still. One I will duplicate. ;)

I was 11 when I first saw Aliens... in 1986, the year it came out! The perfect age to see that movie, in my opinion. Your MOC might look better in dark gray, but the movie's so dim this might be closer to its actual color, you never know. Looking forward to seeing more from you.

Very nice! Probably one of, if not the best I've seen on the site. There are a lot of models that I see or build myself that would benefit from having the old dark gray/charcoal. It gives a much better military 'dirty' look. But hey, maybe this is a snow camo version deployed to a different part of the planet or asteroid or wherever the heck they were. As far as the interior goes, you would have to make it like 3x bigger do make it worth while. Personally I prefer detail over function. The rear turret looks great too. Again, great work! Peace - Patrick
