About this creation
The brief history of my B-ark

What little did they know that the history would be so short-lived…

Its construction took me some couple of hundred hours smeared over many a month, but it stood fully assembled for not a single day!!!

The name B-ark comes from my initial idea to build the Golgafrincham B-ark, from the Hitch-Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, by Douglas Adams.

In this early stage the main body is not yet slanted inwards.

The engines were the first things with detail.

At this stage I am not sure whether to continue with my B-ark plan or to build a battleship instead.

It’s a done deal here! I just love it too much not to build war machines!

It is still an option to use the assault shuttles as lifepods, but what to do with the mecha..?

Quite some time passed before I was satisfied with the bridge dome…

The aft of the ship is still in design here, but I nearly perfected the slanted tail here (port side).

Getting the lifting seats in was quite a challenge

Apologies for the poor quality…

Here to answer Dave Kaleta’s question

I had to sacrifice the torpedo deck for structural integrity…

But all other interiors are built in the ship!

Thx for the comments guys!

Next in line will be a castle again! And maybe another quest for Dalv and Nomar!

This will be quite some time from now though… In the mean time, enjoy their adventure aboard the B-Ark!!!

I've always wanted to build a SHIP (as I'm sure half the people on MOCpages do), but that will have to wait till I think I have enough pieces to do the job properly. You did a great job on this though, the bridge is great I love the design, the whole ship looks pretty clean! You really did a good job, congrads!
