MocOlympics round 1 : CRIMSOGIGER vs EDVIN EINARSSON
This is my entry for the first round of the MOColympics ! My opponent is Edvin Einarsson, and the category is "Guess The Movie".
About this creation
Four years have passed since the disaster at Jurassic Park, and John Hammond has lost control of InGen to his ruthless nephew, Peter Ludlow.
Ludlow plans to create a Jurassic Park arena in San Diego, using captured dinosaurs from Isla Sorna. These dinosaurs are from Site B, an auxiliary facility used to hatch eggs before the dinosaurs were transferred to the main Jurassic Park facility at Isla Nublar. The island was abandoned after the failure of the park and after a hurricane wiped out most of the facilities, and the creatures have been living in the wild ever since.
After the arrival of the InGen team on Isla Sorna, Ludlow and his men capture several species, including a Parasaurolophus...

This scene is taken from "Jurassic Park : The Lost World", hope you've reconized it :D

Very nice version of the scene. I like how you captured the reddish dinosaur (but it does need a lot of tan), and the action on the ground.

Sorry, I'm with Brian on this one. Your dino is great, but you should of packed a little more detail or scenery into the background. I give my vote to Edvin.

The dino if fabulous, but the rest of the scene is a bit too plain for my tastes, so I’m going to have to give my vote to Edvin. Now, if this were the “realistic brick built dinosaur” category, baby, you woulda been unbeatable…:-)

Alright, Crimso! I'm giving you my official judges nod on this one - you've got my vote. What took it over the edge was the dino. It's really tough to get proportions and good lines on animal subjects, and I think you handled it well. Your environment was a little sparten, but the the figures and the vehicle were nicely played.

Bravo, Dinofan ;)

I really like the dino. A lot of people would have just used one of the "prefab" ones that lego made a few years back, but not you. The jeep's nicely done too. Great job. ~ Chris.

You did an excellent job! The film has to be one of my favorite classics, and you've recreated the scene very well.

Hey, good one, Crimso! By the way, I'm HAWK3YE™, and I swear this is the last time I change my name. The landscape is kind of bland, but other than that this is really good!

I like the background. It reminds me of the first LEGO books in store. I like the dino. Great work. Maybe you could use some more SNOT work and some rocks. Good luck!
