Post Apoc Ute "Payback"
About this creation
Had this idea kicking around in my head for a while now; a truck/ute with the gearing reversed so that it drives backwards, thus protecting the engine and radiator (now at the rear instead of out front) and providing a weapon's platform up forward. Probably 100% mechanically impossible but hey-I just had too! The gun's supposed to be some kind of Gatling/Vulcan thingy. I tried to give the ute a real junky look: as if it was gonna fall apart any second :D

Actually, you know what would look ace? The nose section of an A-10 bolted to a longer flatbed style truck! Too hard for me though...

Wow... Interesting. The concept is great. He would have horrendous vision problems, but who cares?! He would OWN! The gun looks cool, and I like how you did the reload on the side. Great job. You're giving me ideas, and I probably should not have them...

He shoots, he SCORES! I love the play on the name. Payback... cause is goes backwards... and you're gonna pay... I'll just stop now. I don't care if it would work or not, this is cool. Now all you need is a mstr ch33f driving and it would be complete... ~Chris.

Payback? Ouch, I hate to think what would happen if you got on the wrong side of that bad dude. =)

[Generic Comment] Hey Shannon, my "you win" vig will only get posted on Flickr, unless you want me to post it here. I am to busy to go through with MOCpages uploader, because my Mom broke her leg.

Not mechanically impossible, but I doubt you could drive it. If I were in this situation I'd just strip the truck down for parts and rebuild it as an assault vehicle. That said, as soon as I saw this I knew the concept and backstory would be interesting. You really did a great job redefining post-Apoc.

To answer Shan's query: no, a minifig can't fit in the cab; it's too small but the overall size is too big for minifig scale. Ahem.

I was afraid this was gonna be another version of my current Post-Apoc WIP, but thank God it's only similar. My favorite part has go to be the chain tunnel. It is win.

Totally mechanically possible, the driver would just have to get used to rear wheel steering. It would handle like a forklift. But speaking of the driver, where is he? Is it possible he can't fit in the cab? And don't give me some BS about how in your post-apocalypse, cars have consciousness like in that Stephen King story/bad movie and have wiped out humans.

Nice Apoc MOC, Shannon. And to the guy below me, as far as I can tell, everything there is LEGO. Good day

A very good MOC, but 1 smilie off for that "piece" right behind [or was that in front] the cab. Is that even Lego?

Man you definitely have the right kind of mind for building post apocalyptic stuff. Gotta wonder where some guy with a nasty truck found such an amazing gun though! Awesome as always!

"Ace" OK, no kiddin', you're Australian. What was that kangaroo incident? Nice truck, but I don't like the way it turns in the middle. But other than that, I can see some sweet stuff there! The rims rock, and so does the front, so I think this deserves a nice little 5 ;)
