Well, Matt, as difficult as it was, I also gave my vote to Joris. Don't feel too bad, though. It was a very difficult choice. I think you actually have joris beat on the complexity of the build (your mechs in particular are really nice). I felt like the MOC might be a tad busy visually, and Joris threw in a storyline element that juuuuust pushed his past yours in my opinion. Since this wasn't a story-based category, it wasn't a huge factor, but those two things together were enough for the win. Good job, all the same...you gave him a SERIOUS run for his money!

This was a really tough choice, Matt. I like your mech designs and especially the ragged look of the base, but the defense turrets seem a bit too big compared to the rest of the scene. In the end, I gave my vote to Joris for his slightly more polished entry, but just barely. Congrats on a well built MOC.
