About this creation

Okay first of all this is based on the original RGS by LEGO, but it might as well be 100% MOC, i made so many changes. also i made this before lego made their latest one, im just now getting it on here.

a few of the changes:

:: i added missile belts
:: i made the doors thicker and they can open farther
:: they also fit just right to the ship since there are no stupid laser balls
:: theres a crate on the back with a turret inside
:: repelling/picking up rope
:: medical droid (idea from wookieepedia)
:: changed all weapons
:: added tons of pieces to wings and hull
:: connected the front so its a lot stronger (the original could seperate on the front making it really flimsy
:: countless other small changes

Uses/Specs: The LAAT series gunships was designed to transport up to 30 clone troopers into combat and support them. It also had a rear hangar that could hold up to 4 speeder bikes to support reconnaissance operations or, as a search and rescue vehicle. Early LAAT were in-atmosphere only vehicles, requiring cruisers to land somewhere on the planet in order to launch, though with their range, it was common practice for cruisers to dip into the atmosphere, let the LAAT fly to the target zone, and be gone before combat had started. Later versions allowed it to fly through space and actually be used for boarding in ship to ship battles. Also sometime after the battle on Geonosis an Alpha-Class Arc Trooper/Special Ops gunship was introduced with a new paint style, increased maneuverability and more flight time.

Weapons: The gunship's many weapon systems were designed for both air-to-air combat and air-to-ground support. For long range or slow/fixed targets the LAAT used 2 mass-driver missile launchers (atop of the craft) which held a variable payload depending on the mission. 4 light air-to-air missiles hung below each wing (8 in total) for any inflight targets. 2 composite beam pinpoint laser turrets, remote controlled by the co-pilot/gunner (on each wing). These had a wide field of rotation and could serve in both air-to-air and air-to-ground operations. 3 Anti-personnel turrets (2 at the front, one at the rear of the craft) supported further ground operations by ensuring a clear path for the deployment of troops or vehicles.

a compartment. i dont know what it is. i use it as a top hatch that my clones can access from the troop chamber (kinda like the millenium Falcon on EP 5)

Medical droid and cabinet

heres the crate with the turret inside. it simply magnets on the back and when the troops are dropped off..... well they can have some extra firepower

the previous butt gun was kinda wimpy, so i uh... made it bigger. about six times bigger

heres the repelling line. all my idea. the plan here is to be able to pick up and drop off soldiers with out completely stopping
