Huge project, i worked on it for 4 days(and im a very fast builder) and kept it for another week before i posted it, but now its finally here!
About this creation
Close-up on the wing. its made in two layers, one dark grey visible here, and one light gray that can be seen in another pic
My favourite part of the whole plane, the cockpit. i love it because of the shape, and because..
It opens to the side, just like the 'Real one'.
Closeup on the cockpit. because of the SNOT i used for the front, i couldnt put the controls in front, so i put 'em backwards, i hope you dont mind!
Engine(AKA awesomeness)
i worked hard on this but i couldnt just get it right, this was the best i could make.
ooo! roof goes off!
waw! lewk at teh wealz!
yup, as i said, two layers:)
Front wheels
Figures. i was going to use the face of Pippin Reed for Marion Ravenwood but i looked trough all my lego(and believe me thats alot!) and couldnt find it, when i make a stopmotion with this i will use that face cuz i want all the faces to be the same colour:) how do you like my custom Belloq costume?
this plane is, believe it or not, 72 studs wide, and 32 studs long! i think its the best flying wing on mocpages but its not up to me, you decide! :P

Hey Edvin, this looks great! I like the very creative cockpit solution you went for. And I have a question: I saw how you made the main landing gear with those technic triangle wedge plates. I had the idea to use these same parts for the main landing gear of a new aircraft I yet have to start building. So: How were you able to keep these wheels turnable? Do they not have the little "cross-shaped" center? Cause then I´d understand of course how they move, but if not??!? The thing is I don´t own any of those wheels and would have to use different ones... Thanks in advance! Best regards, Steffen
The wheels i used are from indiana jones sets, they have a round middle hole. you can get them from mc chase(1 with tyre) jungle cutter(alot, but only two with tyres) and peril in peru(8 with tyres)
