A versatile mech with full-flight capability.
About this creation
You can now read a story featuring the Doberman mech at Abandoned Towers.
Despite its size, the Bloodhound is one of the quickest mechs in the Terran Union regular army. Boasting a robust flight system, this machine can achieve sustained, continental-range flight. Though it delivers less firepower to the fray than the Doberman, many commanders favor the Bloodhound for the tactical advantage of its flight capability. Able to deliver itself to new mission points on command, the Bloodhound is often the first unit to respond to changing situations on the battlefield.
incorporated weaponry:
- Temple-mounted 2.5cm machine guns
- Shoulder-mounted TacNet anti-ballistics laser turrets
- 4 anti-aircraft missiles
Though every bit as large as the Doberman, the Bloodhound has a more limited range of primary weaponry, due to in-flight weight restrictions:
- 2 vamp droids
- 2 class-1 weapons or 1 class-2 weapon with ammo rack
- A rack of NERDs can be installed in place of a class-1 weapon

Armed with a pair of machine cannons.

Backside view.

A close-up of the massive KineCat thruster. Not 100% thrilled with this bit.

Armed with a pair of laser rifles. In flight, the Bloodhound tucks its legs up out of the way for improved stability and aerodynamics. This is no pirouetting fighter jet; in the air, most pilots say this thing handles like a small bomber. still, it's quick, and can hold its own in the air.

The official measurement of the Bloodhound's wingspan is: too fricken wide.
okok, the model's span is right at 2 feet, while it stands only 11" at the highest point. About 10" at the top of its head.

Once on the ground the wings roll and fold up...

... and tuck out of the way on its back. The panels of the thruster also close up tight.

Lemme at 'em.

Dim Sum platter. "You rike, you take."

The brutalizer combo; chain falchion and ball-and-chain

Plasma mace and Machine cannon.

Here it is with the RCNG. the ammo rack goes on the free hip.

Mean Piggy

Laser rifle and droids; vamps hang on the wingtips, while the rack of Nerds go on the free hip.

It's a cool design though I'm not sure about that head. All the interchangable weapons are nice, it' slightly too multi-colored but still a great piece of work! |

Amazing mech! I love the usage of those dragon wings. I do think the whole thing is a little to buff though |

Great use of green, and not as much multi colors. I love the way the wings work and fold up. Be sure to check in for my new mech coming soon... |
