About this creation
The ruins themselves. I was going for an ayleid ruin sort of style.

The ruins hold an altar with a candle and various vegetation. Heh, poetic.

The view of the ruins from the cliff.

OOOooo. Lumpy.

They say this particular spot on the coastline is one unique. This place is a source of stories from the locals, made up mainly to scare the occasional wanderer. Although, rumors have to start somewhere. The ruins here hold a strange aura about them. Not quite tense, and not exactly frightening.

In the witching hours of nights like these, they say the aura is at its strongest. The locals stay well away from the ruins these nights, since, during the apex of darkness, a cloaked figure is said to appear. Any onlookers present are instantly frozen with fear.

The mysterious person, no, presence, goes up to the altar and chants something intelligible and leaves an object at the altar. The object differs each night. And whether it be obvious or subtle, simple or fancy, it is gone by morning. The only thing tangible left over from the spectral visit is a small bit of flame atop the candle. What was this account? A pagan ritual? An honoring of the dead? Whatever it was, all who witnessed are left with an experience they'll never forget.

Strangely enough, I was just thinking I need to build something similar to this earlier today for a story I'm working up. (My story is far removed from yours, of course, I just need a secluded cliffy location). Love the story and the mystery to this MOC.

Your comment has been also been forwarded to an automated system. Which is really too bad because this thing is great! The story that goes with it has that air of mystery as well. Nice work all round. Keep it blocky ~ Chris.

Wow. eerie, nice & quiet, and the slopping top came out great, as did just about everything.
