One of the fiercest (and most notorious) vessel this side of the Outer Rim.
About this creation
PLEASE READ BACKSTORY
The Koensayr Double-Edge Class Medium Starfighter is deadly, and expensive. The only reason the Knaar Pirates got a hold of one of these beauts is through the cheapest way possible: theft. Which is also the most dangerous way, as now this particular ship has a hefty bounty over it. Countless bounty hunters have tried and failed, and once Koensayr (actual Star Wars company!!) authorities contacted Boba Fett to get the job done, he declined, knowing already how many bounty hunters had lost their lives. "Not worth it," he commented on a private Holonews network.
The ship is in surprisingly good condition, in the care of Dace Fandor, Kagg-90, and R3-M6. It has a slender, brown body, with identical ends. The only asymetrical aspect of the vessel is the engines! Fast and furious, the DEC120-MS steals the spotlight on every occasion.
Here's a dynamic, comin'-at-ya position, with Dace at the piloting controls. The two laser cannons reside on the bottom.
Overhead view, so you can see the symetrical goodness of the ship. Many name ideas sprung from it, but the idea of a double-edged sword stuck out.
A close-up of Dace piloting the ship, with R3 right behind him. R3 actually plays a key role in constant maintenance, making sure every bit of the ship is ship-shape.
Kagg-90 is probably the reason this craft is so deadly: he uses the medium laser turret on the back for shooting down enemy ships firing from the rear. Kagg and Dace are constantly updating each other on the current situation, it's hard for the rest of the pirate crew to contact them themselves!
Here's a closer look at the engines, nothing special, I just took multiple cylinder pieces and arranged them accordingly ;)
Here's a dynamic underside view, to show the twin fire-linked laser cannons, which can be set to shoot a round of rapid fire shots, before burning out and cooling off.
Now that Dace and Kagg are out of the way, what wonderous ship does the leader of the Knaar Pirates fly? Stay put, it'll make its way to MOCpages soon enough!

Hmmm.... maybe I should've added a missile tube or two... but, there's literally no space for it... In any case, I can't WAIT to upload Jex's pirate starfighter tomorrow! Remember to zoom in on my photos, at 800 x 600 pixels they are pretty detailed. :) |
