1) Machine Shop for the mine (built December 25th-30th 2004)
The Machine Shop, the first model of the Turtle Creek Branch Line (TCBL)
About this creation

I was stuck on the trailer (White and Teal) as the first building I should
build, but couldn't help myself from building the slightly more challenging Machine
Shop first! And it was well worth it because I feel like I have an anchor piece
that helps continue with the excitement (which will be the hardest part I
think), and I have a MOC that can be used else where until the TCBL (Turtle
Creek Branch Line) is complete.

There aren't too many picture of this structure so I had to interpolate the
hidden areas. An all tan building including the windows would have been too
boring and LEGO has such a course resolution for details that I used a white
trim motif. I also took a few liberties for embellishments; building lights,
rear door and ramp, and some barrel and bins on the outside of the building. Not
to mention that even though I have a reasonable tan element collection there are
still some limitations to the available part selection.
