About this creation

The Spiteful-Dagger, manufactured by Ubiety-9, is a dwarf-destroyer class, single person warship capable of delivering precision damage to fleet ships.
The Czestral War had created a need for a small ship capable of delivering devastating firepower to enemy fleet ships, while maintaing a low profile during insertions.

The Spiteful-Dagger carries four 5-inch destroyer guns in the outboard armament pods. The 5-inch guns are standard design for destoyers and were the obvious choice in weaponry to rip through the armored hulls of fleet ships.
In order to fire the massive guns without shaking the Spiteful-Dagger to shreds, the armament pods are fitted with inertial recoil dampers.

The Spiteful-Dagger entered service so successfully that the smaller fleet ships were immediately rendered ineffective due to their high cost and short life cycle. The result was an almost overnight shift in emphasis from destroyers to carriers and larger battle cruisers. In an effort to keep the Spiteful-Dagger a viable cross platform warship, its outboard armament pods were designed to be easily swapped for other weapons systems.

The Spiteful-Dagger is an excellent low-cost option when you need a to take destruction to the enemy.
