About this creation
First off,I'd like to state that this is the second casle I've ever made. The first can be seenHERE
Well guys,it's done.My greatest MOC yet is finally on the pages. Thanks to all of you for waiting,I started this thing back in June and I finally got my last Cracklink order yesterday. So,on we go:
DawnMoore isn't really a caslte. It's more of a fortress type thing. The walls are six studs thick at it thickest, and two studs thick at it thinnest.Dawnmoore has a galley, the little building with the brown roof, and housing accomindations for troops and the king.Out side of the walls lives is the stable, the building with red and black. And at the top is his living accomidations.DM has a lake with a steam flowing into it.A waterfall flows over the bare rock from the North. Come along for the ride to see what DM caslte has to offer.
DM ain't just a caslte. It's also a spiced up romantic honeymoon get away.Who doesn't love crockidiles and Kaadu!
The king comes to his castle every summer. It's always lovely, with trees and streams galore. The only downside is the black plauge.Poor Jethro,he can't even crap in a hole.
Ahh,the summer of 1045,it never gets old!
By the way,no pun itend on the last comment. And,I don't think there is a trce of yellow in this entire dio except for the flowers.I don't know why,but yella doesn't exactly scream: CHARGE! OFF WITH THE BLOKES' HEADS!!!!
You'll notice that V2 doesn't sit on an island like V1.Why is this? Well let's just say I'm saving that for bigger casltes in the months to come.
In some of these pics, you can see my drumset in the background, every minifig I've ever known likes hard rock.
Do you know what I hate? In our town school started July 30,so I've been in school,9th grade, for over two weeks.I mean, dagum it's August, what ever happened to summer!
I can't even desribe to you how long it took to upload all of these confouded pics!
Well,I'm sick of typing.
Well, thanks again for for looking at this Moc,I appriciate it.Remember to leave a review,it's always cool to get feedback.
Well,that's all for now~

a perfect castle u built here.. u r very talent.. good job.. and i agree with the guy below me about the background; the background in my opinion is a part of the MOC, and here at this PERFECT creation your background is not good at all, why u just leave it like this, i think if you use another background this will appear about 1000 times better than this, just try a cloudy environment background (for ex.) and just c the result.. any wayyzzzz this moc is just perfect.. keep it up.. peace.. fofo |

Yeah, I missed this when it came out, too. It's great and everything, but I think a less cluttered background would help a lot, especially in the main picture. The actual castle is very nice, though! |

Great job, LL! Missed this one while on vacation, sorry for the late review. My favorite parts are definitely the castle pillars and the wooded area with the lake. See ya! |

And you thought I forgot about you huh? WOW LL! Just WOW! I don't even know where to begin. You put so much detail into this. The scenery really pulls the whole thing together. It's stuff like this that'll get you nominated for the 09 mocies for sure! Excellent work my friend! ~ Chris. |

The castle itself is worth the five stars! One thing I do NOT like is the ground, in my opinion you should have put all your brown around the pool and a long the river, and used your greens for the grass. The other thing I didn't "L-O-V-E" was the trees. They seem to be all sorts and not more of the same...I think if you made a bunch 'o palms" or "a bunch 'o um...others" it would have looked nicer...besides that, you have a GREAT MOC here! |

One more thing: I really like that rock formation next to the castle. I'm entering that style of rocks with my tower so I'll be sure to check back to this for inspiration. Man, I can't get enough of this thing... |

The towers and lake are awesome. I love the scenery. I have a few suggestions too. It would be cooler if people could stand in the round towers and if there was more detail by the gate. Great Job! |

Amazing! How many "king's castle siege" sets (from the Lego Castle series) did you use for this, if you used them?
It's AWESOME!
Very good job. |

Excellently done. Consistent style, excellent drum set, plenty of nice, high-quality pics.
And I thought all that BEFORE I knew you were in 9th grade!
Hopefully, starting that early means you get out a lot earlier? I hope you can endure the difficulties of high school in the middle of the summer and continue to wow us with your building abilities. Great work! |

Wow LL, you pulled out all the stops with this one, and your patience really paid off. You've got a lot of cool stuff going on. Nice job on the castle portion without a doubt, but the water and plant elements really add to the work as a whole! Great job! |

A nicely built castle! I think it has all of the features that we come to expect. Great variety of trees, curved walls, stash of gold, snot river, waterfall, rocks, tudor houses and on and on and on. I like the dark leaf tree the best of the different ones. BTW, school for me doesn't start until Sept 9th. HAHA!! Long Live Summer |
