Should be close to scale with most of my other SW minis
About this creation
This is the product of my gunship v.2, which I posted earlier, and a week's worth of designing, and staring at pieces experiencing "builders block." This is probably one of the MOST DIFFICULT minis I have ever built. Overall I am very pleased with the result considering all the funny connections(major understatement there) and weird angles involved with this mini.

I wanted to use the dish piece for the joint on the middle leg from the start, but it was a major design snag, and was one of the last things to be finalized.

The back actually was finished in half a week, not to say it wasn't difficult to get the way I wanted, but it was considerably easier than the front.

The front and back legs don't actually move so there isn't much playability, but fortunately the durability surpasses that of my gunship, which falls apart if you look at it wrong. :-(

If you look closely you can see the wing plates aren't actually connected to the body, they are just propped there, and held in place by rubber band.

Here is a shot showing most of the strange techniques employed in this model. Hinge bricks on the front and back, the 1x1 round plate which does the propping mentioned above, and the wing plates just slide beneath the rubber bands.

The guns on the front were EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to get right, but as you (hopefully) can see, for the top 2 guns I just stuck hand on the 1x2 piece and put it on hinge piece as best I could. The bottom guns can be seen better on the shots showing the bottom.

And finally a good (at least I thought it was good) overall shot to end with. Now I guess I will end up making an LAAT/c to carry my first every mini walker.

Nice work, this is a really accurate mini! However, I'm not a fan of the use of those black rubberbands and the 4 small legs could be a bit bigger. Anyway, congrats on MOTD! |

I've always liked the AT-TE, and you've pretty much nailed this design. I'll probably be posting one of mine in a couple days, is it okay if I use the 3x2 wedge plate and 2x2 parabolic plate design? |
|
|
i dont like it very much.....u just dont put pieces in that order.....but u put alot of efort to it that is what i like and that it's a CUTY TUTY!!!lol it would be cool if u had an army of little cutys! |
|
|
I don't think it's to scale with your other minis ...so i don't like it very much, but all of your other minis are the best including your LAAT/c and ARC LAAT. |
