Squad C22 is one of the Republic's elite commando units. Squad C22 is codenamed CLAYMORE. C22 was selected and put together by the squad leader. Squad C22 is assigned to a Republic HPAC unit.
Squad Leader / Elite Rifleman
Armed with an enhanced blaster rifle and carries an secondary ion rifle used to disable droids. The squad leader controls the elite unit and leads the charge into battle. The squad leader commands complete authority and is unquestioned by his men.
Scout / Light Trooper
Armed with two upgraded laser pistols, the scout trooper is quick and agile. Equipped with a light weight short range jet pack. Scout troopers are used to rush enemy positions and to scout enemy encampments.
Armed with a energy flare burst rifle, which acts as an energy shotgun. Assault troopers are found on the front of the elite unit pushing the way forward for the other slower troopers. These troopers specialize in eliminating other troopers. They carry extra ammunition and a few frag grenades.
Armed with a repeating blaster rifle. Slower than the average trooper and sacrifices long reload times for extra damage. Carries extra energy packs for rifle. Repeater troopers are used to lay down suppression and cover fire for lighter troopers.
Armed with composite blaster rifle and thermal detonator launcher attachment. Demolition troopers are used to add explosive weapons to the standard energy weapons. These troopers are helpful in taking down enemies protected by energy shields. Demolition troopers carry a variety of grenades such as frag, ion, adhesive, and plasma.
Armed with a personal sonic wave cannon. Carries energy pack to power the sonic cannon. Sonic troopers are found in the back of the unit and only emerge when they are needed. These troopers specialize sonic combat to disable force sensitive and other organic enemies. They can subdue large natural predators that could be immune to other more common weapons.
Armed with a thermal-imaging high velocity sniper rifle. Sniper troopers are the most accurate and deadly trooper in the clone team. The high velocity rifle can shoot through light vehicle armor and all personal armor. Carries vibro-knife for close combat and spotter equipment.
Responsible for communication between the commando team and the field commander. The Recon Trooper can call for medivac, airstrike, and reinforcements. Armed with a blaster pistol, and carries the communication equipment.
Armed with a shoulder mounted Hellfire rocket launcher. The Hellfire troopers have the same destructive power, yet lack the locking capabilities of their Heavy Ordinance brothers. However, these trooper have the ability to carry more ammunition and have faster reload times. Hellfire troopers specialize in taking down slowing moving large vehicles and large stationary targets.
Heavy Ordinance Troopers
Armed with a should-mounted thermal sensitive concussion missile launcher. These troopers carry only two rockets. Heavy Ordinance Troopers are the slowest moving and have the longest reload time of any other trooper. The missile launchers can lock onto any heat signature given off by enemy vehicles to ensure destruction. Heavy Ordinance troopers specialize in destroying medium to large, land or air vehicles.
Shock / Telsa Trooper
Shock Troopers are still in the experimental stage and only a handful have actually seen combat. Armed with a state-of-the-art personal electricity generator. The Shock trooper must carry the cumbersome generator on his back which is connected to the hand-held focuser. These troopers can decimate large groups of both living troops and droids. The lightning launcher can disable enemy vehicles. The most potent ability of the shock trooper is the ability to reactivate vehicles and droids that have been disabled with ion weapons. This could potentially turn enemy units to the republic's side in the mists of battle.
Flametongue troopers are basically enhanced flamethrower infantry. These troopers are rare elite infantry assigned to select platoons. Armed with a lightweight liquid-flame system which the trooper carries on his back. Flame troopers are used to eliminate large groups of enemy troops and to flush out enemy that is protected within bunkers or vehicles.
Commando Hummingbird has the most agile jetpack and is able to pull off the most dynamic maneuvers.
Commando Albatross has the jetpack with the most power both in lift and forward trust. Albatross can fly through the roughest air conditions with no problem, and has the longest fly time.
Commando Falcon has the fastest jetpack and is able to fly higher than the other two troopers.
