About this creation
Illinois Central no. 1701 is a 2-8-2 Mikado, one of the best freight hauler locomotives. It was one of the many "Mikes" that the Railroad continuously spruced up and upgraded in their shops, and the engines were kept running. I thought it was about time to build a more serious frieght locomotive, so with the release of the new BBB medium drivers, I began to build this.
Of course, it's not fully done yet, but I think it will look good when it is.
I don't believe I will finish this project. Any suggestions for other possible Mikados?
