It's Drizzt Do'Urden, the Drow (Dark Elf) Ranger who is the protagonist of R. A. Salvatore's long-running series of novels set in the Forgotten Realms, a Dungeons & Dragons world. Unlike most Drow, Drizzt is good. He uses two scimitars, Twinkle and Icingdeath, to cut his foes to ribbons.

My old version of Drizzt stank. This one is much better. His armor decal, which I put a good bit of detail into, is based on the armor he wears in the PC game Baldur's Gate (no, not the console Dark Alliance game, I mean the real Baldur's Gate), with a few features taken from the covers of some of Salvatore's older novels (not the new 3rd edition style ones, which I don't like as much).

The main features taken over from the book covers are Drizzt's boots and white fur scarf (the poofy white stuff near his neck). The scimitars Drizzt is wielding are from Little Armory Toys, but everything else is my own creation. Personally, I absolutely love the way this minifig turned out.

This is a great model of Drizzt, everything turned out excellently. I think you could've added a few more photos, maybe of battle scenes or such. Still cool, though. |
