A few of the MOCpages gang recently got together for a weekend camping expedition. After a day of hiking and fishing, the friends gathered ‘round their camp fire to chill with some friendly conversation and a few (too many) drinks…
Hilarious story, and terrific MOC! By the way, I just read your bio on your art site, and you were a competitive baton twirler? Interesting, that means Sean Kenney chose a show skater and a baton twirler to be Mods. I'm always amazed by the diversity on this site!
After reading many of your reviews on Flickr, and I was just a bit curious: might this be a spinoff as if to say why the rest of the online lego community doesn't correspond with MOCpages? If so, highest props. ~Will
What, I didn't review this either!?! Hmm... Well, this was my favorite. Anyone who didn't see this winning clearly has had their eyeballs replaced with bouncy balls. Anyway, CONGRATS ON WINNING THE CONTEST!!! Peace - Patrick
This is.... HILARIOUS!!! It's is great to see a fellow Hoosier make such great stuff(I'm from Central Indiana myself). And I Was just wondering if you, The maker of the Invisible Hand could grace my page & leave a review on my LDD Crab Droid. EDIT: Oops, I forgot your KIRBEH DANCE! <(^.^)< <(^.^)< >(^.^)> >(^.^)> v(^.^)v <(^.^)< >(^.^)> <(^.^)^ TEH EPIC KIRBEH DANCE!
But please do that poor small town ER doc a favour and be sportin' a Brazillian if your going to be lighting any man-made methane - it will save me having to gag over the smell of burnt protein as I bandage up the, umm - 'hot-dog'. (sad, but true). Lee.
pretty sure a winner.
Looks like Ocean learned to blast fire outta his head like Johnny and your wife,Kelso.
Now im gonna invite Sho,Arawos,Joris and the Camploving Legolord to party like this and see what happens...
I guess that "Amber Alert" status that we're on never did get lifted. Not sure what I said that was deemed "Too Much" for mocpages? Maybe something about Ocean adding a Hickory goodness to the s'mores or something... ~ Chris.
Oh, don't feel too left out Mr. Young...This was spur of the moment, and I've got something specific planned for you! (It's just going to be a quite while before I can get to it.) And can somebody please tell me why THIS comment needed to be moderated? Sheesh!
Thanks for reminding me not to go into the woods with you guys. At least not without a gasmask and some of that heat resistant outerwear that firemen have. I bet your mom won't approve of your art now, huh. If I did this I could just see my mom sadly shaking her head. Maybe your mom's different. see ya. garth
I've got something else in mind for Young, but it's going to be quite a while before I can get to it. The question at the forefront of my mind is will I even survive Ocean's retribution to live and build another day?
Wow... That ruled! I'm speachless! seriously funny, and well done.
I like it

Nothin' say's lovin' like a love note from your behind. This made me laugh out loud. Even though it's not made from LEGO, the giant flame thrower across the campfire was my favorite part. I always knew this is what guys did when they were alone with each other.
That was an hour and 41 minutes in case you were wondering (inside joke). Now then, as far as the contest goes. I was thinking about building something myself (since we started talking about this) and now... never mind, you win. So, four mocpage builders get together from the four corners of the earth (ok, Indy, Chi-town, Vegas and Down under) and the best we can come up with is to get drunk on a camping trip? Actually, now that you mention it, that does sound like fun... and I always heard that flame broiled Ocean gives smores that hickory flavor that they're usually sorely missing. You sir, humble the rest of us. ~ Chris.
just a second,I'm not done yet.....wha wha haha ha ha ha ha ha ha ah ha ha ha ha ha!....*continues briefly....aw,who cares,it continued for quite awhile* that is lol hilarious!it seemed kinda simple at first, but who doesn't like a little smores roasted on a friends dead body ingnited by good'l tennessee moonshine?
wow!!!! that's got to be one of the best vigs/dios ive EVER seen! the main photo's green leafs look like city lights. you know as if the UFO is really high up so if you look at it it looks like the city is glowing! so thats what i thoguht first- it turned out its much better. i especially like how you changed emotions! great job and great image quality! the UFO's sides and the rocks around the campfir are also well done! 5/5
Even with the new comment system I still have trouble getting them through... A better comment is on the way (as soon as the moderators clear it). In the mean time... I'll take mine medium rare ~ Chris.
Now that has got to be the most logical explanation... I mean, who would care about a bunch of people with only two eyes, who just sat on a thing called a computer. Weird ain't it? Although, I've actually been building model ships today, not LEGO. It's a pretty good hobby when there's a heat wave.
