Instructions for my MP5 submachine gun that shoots LEGO pins and ejects cartridges. Also has a retractable stock and other features.
About this creation
Ok, after so many people asked for instructions on my MP5 submachine gun, I decided to take it apart and rebuild it in several steps while taking pictures of every step. I hope this somewhat satisfies everyones demands ;) Because I had to take so many pictures I could not create a package small enough for e-mailing, so I decided to make a brand new page with the instructions!
I did not note the pieces needed for each step, as I found that that would take way too much time. Hopefully you guys can figure things out from the pictures. Also, thanks to everyone who took the time to write a review!
For more information on the MP5, click here
Oh, and please don't mind the layout for now. I'm on holiday for about 2 weeks, so I'll reorganize this page when I return. Any comments are welcome!

Note: only use pins that cannot be pulled out of the tubes with ease, having the right combination is pretty essential.

Well, I hope this was useful!

it should work when you cut the spring a little bit (shell ejecting) it should be half inside, or before the thing with the hole where the spring goes through, then it works. |

Amazing! The gun looks amazing and now im building it. Im all the way till the stock. Some parts were hard to understand but if i had a closer look or looked at the next pic, i could finally understand what to do. Ive done everything untill the stock section, looks promising so far. Its just too bad that i dont have enough black peices :P this gun mechanism seems to work great and doesnt Require many technic peices. Wonderful work my friend! I hope i finish the gun! |

Ive also have build this weapon. It's really great and i really love it. I just made a few minor adjustments like the front grip. And i had made a mountable laser and light for it. I only have one problem: when firing the Lego bullet is often doesn't come out because it exits diagonal quite often somehow, can you give me some hints on my page. (I'm from Holland btw). |

The "cartriges" are actually called "Technic Pin Joiner Round" 75535
I have a few because this was my first lego set http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/4500-1
and i remember it having them. |
|
|
To Ken Pilcher - I tried, but until the next update to the LDD, I do not have the peices needed. Once the correct peices have been uploaded, I shall try to make it. |

I buildt this weapon about 2-3 days ago, and i just love it! there is just one thing; when the bullet is pressed up into the chamber, it comes up in a different angle than its supposed to, which leads me to press the bullet in its right position everytime i am going to shoot it. Could you please reply my comment? I really want it to work properly, because such an awesome and incredibly great MP5 should work as it's supposed to!

Hi,
This MP5 is fantastic!
and I may have a suggestion for the instructions.
If you put all the pictures in full size in a pdf file and put it here. becouse it would be much easier to watch the pictures when they are already at full size, and not that you have to click on the picture to enlarge it and then you have to scroll back to the picture.
But overall Nice Job!! Nice Lego Gun!
Keep going!
regards,
Jonathan |

Man, je bent geniaal.
:P) Succes in ieder geval! |

english: thanks for your opinion really cool.i changed your name immediatly (my bad). about the stock: mine got to heavy so i had to find another sollution. you can`t push mine in but it`s detachble with a click systeem but your right it`s still to wide. but i can fix that
