This is part five of five. I'm done making these pages, so no more requests please. Just review the ones I got. Be sure to see the other four pages! Please comment!
About this creation
First up is this 1x2x2 45° angle brick. This has numerous uses in LEGOŽ building. It really is the piece for those "precise" builders.
Notice the bottom is just like a 1x2 plate.
Next up, requested by 1vn, is a 1x1 angle, or "cheese plate", only the stud has been revesed. Now instead of placing a wedge on top of a brick, it can be hung underneath to get the same nice angle look. I thank 1vn greatly for this genious design!
In order for this brick to become fully usable, I had to cut a groove where a stud from below would fit, just like the bigger wedge pieces have.
This is just a normal 2x2 angle plate, but my point is that LEGOŽ needs to make transparent ones. For many reasons I don't even feel like explaining right now.
This is just like the 1x4 angle block, only it has only one block instead of four.
In other words, this is just a 1x1 angle block without the recessed edge. This was a request by Supreme Chancellor SilverSage.
This is basically my 1x1 grill from before, but now it is shaped like the exsisting 1x2 grill pieces. Requested by Apple Pie.
This is like the 1x1 rod holder pieces, except the holder is offset.
That is so you can attach two of them to form a compact hinge. I used my 2-stud rod from before to connect the pieces.
Finally, is a last minute request from Thomas Nuņez. This is similar to the binocular piece, only It's mounted on a normal 1x1 tile and there's one hole. I could easily see many uses for this.

The 1x1 reverser plate and 1x1 slope with stud would help on 4939 on the rear fenders with lights |

Wow! great ideas! Have you thought about a 1x1 stud with a 2 prong hook thing on the bottom, just opposite of the regular 1x1 rod holder piece |

I like that youre thinking of all these, some would be VERY useful, but i agree with Alex. SNOT should be a challenge, for the advanced builders. |
|
|
I really like a lot of these pieces, however some to me just seem like they'd be used by people to lazy for complex SNOT. Then again... it would make SNOT easier, but I think it should remain a slight challenge, so when it's done and done right you can sit back and have a little more admiration for all of the time you spent banging your head against the wall trying to get the SNOT right. |

You are not going to believe this. Yesterday I was wishing/thinking that Lego should make the reverse cheese plate a reality before I looked at this page.
Good ideas-very useful and practical. |
|
|
Yeah, i really like these ideas of yours and they would be fun but if you think about it you'd be wiping out lego's creativity. |

I'm ashamed to say that even though Lego doesn't make this piece, I do, with a sharp knife! |

man you seriously need to make those thin rods but smaller size like say 1/4 or 1/2 of the rod? and also you could make some of those fuel tank pcs (in the red creator set you wanna buy) withpout the that stewpid bulge in the middle!I REQUESTED THE CHEESE PLATE TOO!!!!!!!! |

1x4 angle block would be clutch. I'm torn about "classic" pieces and new stuff. If it were up to me, any piece made after the year 2000 would not be allowed. You might as well use CGI for art if you have too many types of pieces. Thhat said, it always seems like I'm one critical type of piece short from doing what I want though.
Well Done. |
