These are a couple of pieces I wish LEGOŽ would make. They would be pretty useful. These were all drawn in Autodesk Inventor using real LEGOŽ dimensions. I will add more ideas as soon as I think of them, so stay around! Please comment!
About this creation
This is a 1x3 tile. This could be used in places where a 1x2 and 1x1 just don't look right. Also it would help cover some akward gaps left if you miscalculate from the start.
Here is the bottom. It's easier to tell it's a 1x3 from this view.
Now here is a piece I'm desperate to own! It's a 1x1 with an axle bearing. This could be extremely useful for building small helicopters, cars, or trucks. This, for instance, could be used to make an offset rear spare-tire on a 4-wide truck. MegablocksŽ has a similar piece, but LEGOŽ wheels and propellers do not snap on to them.
The bottom. Trust me, all of the dimensions are the same as LEGOŽ would make it.
P.S.- If you're wondering how I aquired this $2000 software, I got a free 14-month liscense to own it because I'm enrolled in four years of CAD classes in high school. My liscense gets renewed every year too! Until of course, I go to college...

I like all of your ideas for new bricks, I can find a use for almost everyone of them! It's especially cool to see this years after it was posted, since some of your ideas became actual Lego bricks. |

I believe we could all use a piece with inlets/outlets on both the top and bottom of bricks. |

A 1x3 tile ouwl have made my ShangHai World Finance Center a LOT easier to build. Two sides of this 5 ft tall tower were built entirely of tiles, and there were many places when I needed a 1x3 tile. |

Not bad for the wish list, but AMEN to tile wings or tile wedges, Brently! The only portion of any of my creations where I can't seem to loose the studs...those stinkin' wedge plates! |
