In our last installment, we met the Coyote, a steam powered utility tractor... Now meet its big brother, the Badger.

The Badger is the beefed up version of the Coyote Utility Tractor. It sports a larger and more powerfull engine, 3 times the steam pressure chamber capacity, twice the wood hopper space, and most importantly, a gattling turret. Nikros is home to the entire Nikronian race, unfortunatly, the Axons see them only as an obstacle between them and the precious resources deep within. Think about it: if there is an alien race hell-bent on invading from space (lol space invaders) anti-air weapons would be the natural choice.
The Badger's gattling turret launches projectiles with steam, said metalic projectiles are fed in with wooden belts. The extra belts are stored in wooden trunks, mounted on the detachable trailer. As well, if need be, the Badger can haul small amounts of coal or whatever needs to be hauled. Obviously, since there is both a turret seat, and a driver's seat, a gunner accompanies the normal driver. Since these guys are running a weapon, only official Nikronian soldiers are allowed to operate it.
A space-ship shooting we will go...
I dont know why you guys always like to stand RIGHT infront of the guns... did you totally forget your "Mechanic Wilson Says..." safty films?*
I can hear that steam engine humming away...
There are a total of 4 tracks that are exactly the same as those on the Coyote.
 Got some Ammo...
Those treads will get over ANYthing that the Nikronian deserts have to offer.
Now THAT is a steam engine! as well as my hair... I swear I didn't notice it until just now.
Load up the wood... you're running low! 3 steam drums ought to hold enough power... Ooh, nice rifle!
Not as nice as the other control system, but still nice.
"Ya see, this here lever turns it the other way, and this one changes the asmuth. Oh, and this one fires it..."
Um... thats where the trailer hitches up...
"Yeah, we ran over another desert squirrel... a large piece of wreckage... and we didn't bend a single tread section."
 Cool seat, right?
 Gattling Cannon 4 Teh Win!
You want to try some? Its served hot on a bed of scalding hot steam, with a tungsten garnish.
The driver and gunner pose in uniform with an ammo trunk, and the last-ditch rifle...
Seriously, I worked hard to get this *perfect*. Everyone loved it at the WAMALUG, because of its surprising playability. Yes, its much cooler than the previous one.
*Note: Safty is intentionally misspelled- it's an inside joke. Mechanic Wilson Says "films" are here & here

This looks like an 18th century woodmill engine with a gun (I know "steampunk" says it all). Very cool! |

Hey, nice steampunk here! I usually only build steampunk with brown and grey bricks, but it's very cool with yellow! |

Its really cool. If the driver and gunner were wearing yellow it would look exactly like it belonged to the Anglo Isles from Battalion Wars 2. Could you possibly make instructions, thanks. |

What can I say?? I love the engine- actual functionallity is hard to convey and you pulled it off nicely. Great overall design and nice choice with the yellow. Now you have to build what it's meant to shoot down! |
