About this creation
Ok, time for another episode of Cribs.
For the time being (as long no kids are on the way) I get to have my own room for guy stuff.
I keep two sets of legos. My "old" ones and my "new" ones. Thats because the "old" ones are different colors. The new ones are all stored in these sterolite shelves. They're mostly empty right now but can hold all of my 22,000 "new" pieces. These are sorted by type not color, except for grey bricks. Those are by color. The old set has about 5,000 pieces. Once upon a time this was about 7,500, but many pieces were lost over the years. I count my pieces based on what sets I've bought and my bricklink order history so it should be pretty close.
I also keep my golf clubs in here because its too hot where I live to keep them in the garage. It was 110F last week, so I'm not playing much golf right now.
For the most part I use this table for building. My latest MOC is too big for this, so it is in the living room. Its a pretty good building table. Lots of space, but it seems to fill up quickly.
My Computer Table. Notice the stategic placement of Klenex just in case I start to cry reading JD's poetry (I don't want to hear any more jokes about this ok!)
This is the bookshelf where all my old stuff is. Lets get a closer look Eh?
All of the old sets were collected between 1988-1991 with the exception of the 1999 star wars stuff. I have a couple brothers, so really only about half of this was originally mine, but I am the only one who still wants it so now it is mine.
This is my castle collection.
The forestmen were my favorites
Pirates - originally my little brothers. He actually lost a lot of the pieces and I completed the sets by getting spare parts off of my favorite place bricklink.
Star Wars
Planes Trains and Automobiles.
For those of you who want to say this isn't an "MOC", well I have a WIP MOC below. I'm actually just practicing making big guys for my next build from LOTR "Argonath - The Pillars of Kings".
Who's this guy? Oh, its me. Looks like Its about getting time to shave. Better get going.

I'm going to let the "guy stuff" reference slide this time. I have been dying to build a room for my LEGO's but alas, this year a new deck has stolen my alloted "room" money. I can't build on a deck! I wasn't as lucky as you, my big brother was only interested in toys that had guns. And I don't care if all that was left of his toys were blown up hook-handed GI Joes, he wasn't givin' anything to me. Makes me want to phone him up and give him a good ration. Gotta go and make a call now. |

Organization and simple display shelves...I like it! I think that it's neat that you kept all of your 1990's sets! I have to say...you don't look like an eggplant to me. ;)C ya~ElNickre |

It's always a pleasure to see the collection (and the face lol) of master builders !
I think some people would killed their parents to obtain the little 80's train in this condition lol

Glad to see your space. I plan on doing that soon, I just need to finish sorting (in the progress of it). Yah, my siblings never liked Legos (accept, my older sister Loved Duplos when we were little), but I got a bucked of old, broken, dirty Bricks from my Grandma. They were my Dad and Uncles'. I rarely use them, they would make tanks and smash them together, so, they are pretty beat up. |

I had this image in my head of what you looked like... I'll stick with the image (Kidding of course, look who's talking.). Kids may be a blessing (I can barely remember my life before my daughter) but they sap every bit of energy right out of you... Enjoy it while you can. Thanks for joining the ranks of "This is my moc-life" posters (that's people who post, not the kind you hang on the... you know what, never mind.) I've wasted enough time here, I'm gonna go check out that Helms deep I've been waiting so long for... ~ Chris. |

Pffft... I have more than that. I recently guesstimated my Lego net worth at somewhere over 60,000 pieces, and you know, it still isn't enough. Don't have a nice room dedicated to them, though -- yet! Still working on that. Go forestmen! (Free words of wisdom, kids: Talent always trumps limited parts palette.) |

It's okay, I cry over JD's poetry, too...only for a different reason. (sorry, JD...it was there - nothin but love, man!) So anyway, always good to see the workspace. Pretty cool that your brothers left you some swag, too. Now quit wastin' time and lets see some of that sweet Helms Deep MOCage! |
