Can Obi Wan escape the clutches of the CIS? With his new speeder bike, he can! (STAND NOT PART OF SET)
About this creation
Using ONLY the parts of Obi Wan's Jedi Interceptor from the Hyperdrive Ring set (mind you, I didn't use all of the pieces of the Jedi Interceptor too, and the stand doesn't count as part of it), I have created a speeder bike for fast land travel. Hours of Lego Star Wars 2: The Complete Saga were still fresh in my mind, so I imagined a scene before a level where Obi Wan crash lands his Jedi Interceptor and, in an attempt to escape capture from CIS forces, builds a speeder bike out of the remains and speeds off. Getting into level details, Obi Wan would get studs for attaching parts, not just the whole thing (mostly because that's how I build).
A similar pic, with the infamous "sandy effect."
A head-on view. Luckily, his R4 unit was jettisonned in the nick of time, so it's been incorporated into the vehicle, providing support and maintenance when it can.
Friendly competition with Rave's swoop!

This is cool! But with me everything is excellent! On the podracer that you asked me a question about here is the answer. I took one of those black rods and clipped the chain to it. |

You get what I mean, right? A speeder bike TYPICALLY looks like that, and IF the Jedi Interceptor was minifig size (a bit too big) I'm sure this speeder bike would be smaller. |

It certainly was! I think Obi Wan's better off with this than the Jedi Interceptor ANY day. |
