My first cyborg racer, please leave a comment! Thanks!
About this creation
I know I'm a little behind with the whole cyborg racing fad, but I was determined to make one, just didn't have the creative spark I needed to make one hehe. But without futher or do, I give you my first cyborg racer, Impulse. This racer collects and harnesses solar energy as its fuel source. It obsorbs the energy through its front cylidrical collector, this collector can also be used as a highly focused particle weapon, its a good idea not to get in the way. Impulse can also take its collected energy to devert it to its engine, giving it quite the power boost. It has the capability of reach high velocities, but would not be fair aganist other fellow racers. So the enenrgy is priamrily deverted to weapons or main power.
As for the story how this poor soul was mounted on a mechanical contraption...A long time ago in a gala...ok forget that! It was an average day, as average human Nerick N. Nerferter began his average, nothing special trip to work. As he backed out of his average driveway and tuned into his average radio show, he quickly stopped as he forgot to kiss his average wife goodbye...hmmm probably not the best thing to say...Anyway! as he got back to his average looking car, he took off at an average speed for work. His average day went by smoothly as he finished an average day of pencil pushing and file folding. He finally arrived home at an average time to have another quite average dinner with his still average wife. He later died that night pondering how his average life will forever remain...average. The shock gave him an average heart attack, in which he was promptly sent off to an average hospital and was declaired dead by an average doctor. His head was cryogeneically frozen at an average temperature and later when cyborg racing became popular he was given the honor of being mounted on a more-than-average racer for being one of the most average humans in history. The average...uh I mean end
You should axe the head n then call it microspace, i think it would fit better. I've never been a fan of "cyborg racers". They don't seem to make much sense. You see if I were a robot racer I wouldn't stick a random organic head on top of me. Tt'd be like having a sign saying "weak point here, shoot at will". I mean if it were the only part of me that was still human I'd try and put it somewhere safe.
I like the way you placed the red accents to complement the stripe pattern on the collector panels. The front end of the ship is beautifully built and detailed, and the engine is great due to good use of SNOT. Awesome work, and this is definitely one of the more distinctive racers out there!
LOVE the design. The info on the racer is good, but I'd like to hear something of the mind behind the machine...so what's our guy's story and how did he end up a cyborg? Anyway, nice addition to the cyborg line!
