Ooh did you have problems with barrel sag or drop, I did until AI made the structure of the barrel more complex, and a tightly fitting conglomerate of parts designed to keep it straight, and Dyklan is right, the handle looks a bit smallish, and wierdly curved on the rear end.

I've been studying pictures of 50 cals, the handle is quite small in those pictures, but something about the shots you took make the handle look awkward. As far as clip goes it, well just doesn't look right, you know as you said, you put it in wrong. I would love to see some more shots of this, and mabey I'll change my mind... My new favorite creation would be the End of Days, http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/87661. It is not quite as cool looking as your Barrett, but as far as detail goes it will beat every creation on MOC pages. It is what caused me to get the idea to build The Road Into HeIl. well, to counter your criticizing, if you look at photos of a real Barrett, you will notice that in comparison with my MOC, the handle is at 1:1 proportion exactly..... i've measured. also, these pictures aren't really the greatest, and what i mean by that is that the mag is too far back in the cache, i just screwed up in putting the mag in before taking this shot. the mag is actually too SMALL!, in comparison to the 1:1 scale .50 cal round, the mag is not big enough, but the gun isn't exactly 1:1, more like 1:1.25 or something like that. i plan on posting new pictures tomorrow in time for your contest, so stay posted, and i appreciate your criticism, but i still wonder, what is your favorite MOC now?

I'm bored right now, so I'll rate this, as what I really think of it. It is now my second favorite creation :(, but I will still have to criticize it. As great as it is their are a few minor flaws, first the handle is too small, way too small. Secondly the magazine is a little to big, just a bit... You did on the other hand get the back, and the scope, and the barrel, and well, pretty much everything else spot on. How long did it take you to build this, and really did you build it yourself? I mean, you had to of had some help, you know from one of the greatest lego builders in the world?

Yes I know, I was just kidding... We both rank on the top military creations, both of us with our own unique style, some of your things are better then mine, and of course vice versa. Here is yet another smiley face for a creation, that I myself have yet to beat. As much as I will try, I'll probably never. I hope to come close with my next creation, though. As for now we will battle for the top spot in military, but believe me I find it quite fun. Anyway thats it, for now I wish you the best of luck 4 the contest, for now the competition begins again. i hope you don't really believe that i hate your creations. i really like a lot of your most recent ones. your king tiger, f-18, and WWII diorama thing, you know, Road To.....(can't say the actual name or it won't let me post this comment.....??) are really great creations with a lot of detail. yes, there is some work to be done on some of your creations, but the same thing for mine, and almost everybody else on this website. i mostly see you as competition, and as it is human to be competitive, we may have some things we disagree on. i do really love a lot of your creations, and i love being able to compete with them. may we long be rivals, and may we have a good time doing it.

I must say again, that even though you hate my creations, and I dislike some of yours, that this is one of my favorite creations ever. Build something like this for the contest, and you will win for sure.

Awsome Barrett. The Barrett is my favorite sniper rifle of all time. Looks a lot like the real thing although the barrel needs to be a bit longer(like you noted) and lower.

Crap, I keep noticing some other things as I go. Ok, the barrel is not centered with the rest of the rifle. It should be a little lower when if is free of the barrel sleeve. Also, how thick is your barrel? It seems a little thin in all directions. Make sure your barrel is exactly 3/4 an inch in all directions.

Also, if you can, beef up the monopod, extend the barrel sleeve, and the barrel itself. Can I get the measurements of your model? I would like to help you greatly.

My only gripe is that the magazine is not perfectly straight at the bottom. Keep working on it. Also, can you improve the 12.7mx99 Browning .50 BMG Round? It looks like a large cone, when the .50 BMG is supposed to have a proportional cartridge, and rim. Excellent work though.
