The Morning Star is a heavy mecha used in front lines combat. It is armed with 2 tri-80mm cannons, a 4-barreled anti-infantry machine guns, and an array of high-speed plasma coated rockets. It is one of the most formidable mechs in the Sphindaran Empire.
About this creation
Sorry about the somewhat blurry pics, I couldn't find my tripod, but I did figure out how to use contrast to better the pics.
Anyway, enjoy!

The "Head" can rotate all the way around.
Instead of your everyday lone 120mm cannon, you get triple the fun! These are used for busting enemy armor, punching through barricades, or getting rid of "1337 w4r7h09s".
The quad machine guns fire high-caliber shells at 2000rpm to shred enemy infantry.
The rocket pod is used for taking out air vehicles and heavy armor.
Foot detail. I started with the feet and built up because on my last mech, the head was too big for the legs. Predictably, the opposite seems to be happening on this one.
leg detail. Probably my favorite part of this mech.
Another part I like is the antennae on the shoulder.
No, I do not own Battlefield 2142.
And finally, a size comparison with my My sig-fig.

Nice work! I really like this style of mech. This particular one looks a bit "thin" but it still looks really great. Well suited to the dawn forge style mechs that I'm so fond of. Now if only I could build one... Peace - Packie |

Very nice, I like how studless it looks, also itīs scale is very good. The highlight are in my opion the weapons. |

I will also state that at the first glance it appears much like a Dawn Forge unit, but I would also like to add that another missile pod on the other shoulder would make it far superior. |

Really terrific looking over-all design. My favorite elements would have to be the rocket housing unit, and the bottom leg sections. To me, a bulkier body section might not be a bad thing. Still a great looking MOC - nicely done! |

How about another missile pod on its left shoulder to balance it out? In the straight on pics you can see the weight of the existing one forcing it to lean slightly. Like a woman with a too-large purse, its going to need a mech chiropractor someday. |

This is pretty slick. I really enjoy the bulky/angular style of your mechs. Nice look to the rocket pack on this one. The only thing missing is a walking pic to demonstrate range of motion and stability, but that's just a pet peeve of mine. Keep up the great work...I hope to see more in this style. |
